Signal Mutual Indemnity Association (SMIA) welcomed President of Unify Health Services to speak at Safety & Health Committee Meeting

Jacksonville, FL- Unify Health Services’ President, Kelly Ingram-Mitchell, MPT was the invited speaker at the Signal Mutual Indemnity Association’s (SMIA) Safety & Health Committee Meeting in Norfolk, VA on June 27th, 2017. The Regional meeting attendees consists of Safety, HR, and Risk Directors that are Signal Safety Members. The welcome was provided by Jay Crofton, Owner, President with Crofton Industries, Robert Capelli, Sr. Safety & Compliance Manager with Orion Marine Construction and Sam Lai, AVP Safety Resources with Signal Administration, Inc.
The mission of the Safety Committee is to create a direct link between the SMIA Board of Directors, and professional safety representatives from Member companies, to provide recommendations and assistance with research and development of safety issues that will benefit the membership in reducing accidents.
Ms. Ingram-Mitchell’s two and one-half hour presentation focused on the 3 B’s of Wellness, Behave Well, Be Well and Biomechanically Well. As part of Signal Mutual’s Wellness initiatives for 2017, they chose Unify Health Services as their wellness partner to deliver programs and services to their members.
